Polish MSP Authorities

Polish sea areas are governed by the Minister responsible for maritime economy affairs. The sea areas and coast management areas are administered by his regional maritime administration - the Directors of Maritime Offices.

Drafts of Maritime spatial plans are prepared by Directors of Maritime Offices. After public consultations those drafts are adopted by ordinance by the Council of Ministers. Tasks related to international consultation process according to the Espoo Convention are conducted by General Directorate for Environmental Protection.

General Directorate for Environmental Protection

National Environmental Authority responsible for implementation of environmental protection policies including environmental protection management for Natura 2000 areas and investment process control.
